Katja's Writ...
Viscountess Rosalind Ashworthe spoke as a Royal Peer on  my courtesy, saying she felt I was always kind and nice. (She even wore an anteri for the ceremony!)
Photos thanks to Mistress T'seev'a
Mistress Mathilde de Pyrenees  (sis!) spoke for the Laurels on my art, avowing that my knowledge of cooking made me her equal and wanted to know why the heck I was being made a Pelican instead of a Laurel...
Me crying while listening to Devon. "Boss" spoke for the Pelicans on my service, saying that he met me washing dishes in a kitchen and hadn't seen me stop working since then. I honestly don't recall meeting him in a kitchen -- I recall meeting him at a Barony meeting -- but I wasn't going to quibble the details.
Viscount Sir Edward Zifran of Gendy, 102nd Knight of the Society, the one and only Fast Eddy!

Everyone is laughing because he stood up for each of the previous three Worthies, only to step gallantly aside and let the others speak for me. When the herald called for the member of the Chivalry, he waited a moment with the hall waiting in total silence, then acknowledged that it was FINALLY his turn and stood up. (It shows he's an actor mundanely.)  He spoke at length on my honor and I completely zoned out as his voice rang loud and clear through the huge hall. I it was utterly unreal having one of the Society's very rare quadruple peers -- a former president of the BoD and someone I'd heard about as a legend when I joined the SCA 15 years ago -- say that I was *his* equal. I know it was good schtick, but it also floored me.
